Do you want to raise funds to help us keep older and vulnerable people happy, healthy and independent at home?

Fundraising not only helps us to better serve our community, but it can also be lots of fun!

Here are some of our fundraising ideas:

  • Hold a bake sale - get your friends and family involved in making some sweet treats to sell.
  • Hold an event, like a quiz, a bingo night, or a ball - you can raise extra money on the night through raffles or tombola. Ask your friends to donate unwanted gifts.
  • Fundraise at work - host a get-together, have a 'bring and share' lunch, take on a group challenge, or choose us as your charity of the year.
  • Fundraise at school - hold a non-uniform day where pupils make a donation to take part, sell tickets for a school disco, complete a sponsored run around the school field or a one hour silence! We also give handmade Christmas cards to our clients every year so if your school would like to get involved please email [email protected].
  • Take on a challenge event - like completing a long distance walk, climbing a mountain, running a marathon or completing a skydive! Make sure to let people know what you're doing on social media so that they can sponsor you.
  • Car boot sale - one person's trash is another's treasure!
  • Anything else you can think of!

Where does your money go?

LILS is a charitable, not-for-profit, social enterprise. We trade to deliver social good and support people. Your money can:

  • Help us to cover the cost of a hot main and dessert.
  • Help us to provide extras to make our clients feel special - things like Christmas cards, water jugs and client gifts.
  • Help us to keep a welfare pot for those who cannot afford to pay.
