More than just a Meal

Meals on Wheels Referral Form

Our service has always been more than just delivering a meal. We care about your wellbeing and are proud of how our service gives you and your loved ones peace of mind.

Download our meals on wheels leaflet for more information.

No reply procedure

Should you not come to the door, or not be in the house when we come to deliver a meal, we will contact your family, friends or neighbours to make sure you’re ok.

Regular visits/ welfare checks

Delivering food regularly means our Community Team get to know our clients really well. Should we notice that something isn’t right, then we can contact your family, friends or doctor to let them know.

Occasionally, we find our clients after they have had a fall or accident. If this happens, our community team will stay with you until help arrives.

Medication prompts

Medication prompts are available as a part of our meals service if required. Click here to find out more.

Plating up your meal

Our Community Team member will happily plate your meal, and make you a drink if you would like. Please request when joining our service if you would like us to do this when delivering your meal.

Our Teams

Every Community Team member has had a police record check and will always be wearing their ID badge and uniform.

Our staff are regularly trained in caring for older people, including specialist dementia awareness.

All of our staff are paid at least the Living Wage Foundation’s Living Wage.

We track all of our vehicles to make sure they’re driven safely.

Some of our vehicles are electric to minimise our impact on the environment.

I cannot say how grateful I am for your service. Your delivery person found my Mum on the floor of her flat one day, called your office and waited with her until the ambulance came. Your services are absolutely brilliant. Really cannot thank you enough
