Meals on Wheels Referral Form

We can provide hot, nutritious lunches and desserts 365 days a year. We deliver anywhere in the London boroughs of Camden and Haringey. 

Meals are delivered ready to eat between 11:30am and 2:30pm every day. We can’t give you exact delivery times, but generally we’ll be with you at a similar time every day.

We have a very straightforward referral process.

  • Individuals can self-refer
  • Families and friends can refer their loved ones to our service
  • Social workers and health professionals can refer clients

Simply download our referral form. You can email, scan or post this to us.


We are very proud of both the quality and variety of our balanced, nutritious meals, which adhere to strict national catering guidance.

Our menu repeats every two weeks and we refresh our menu twice a year, in winter and summer.

Our Nutrition and Wellbeing team has created some simple coding to make it easier for you to choose meals to suit you. If necessary, we can bespoke our menu just for you to suit your needs.

Cultural and Religious choices - we cater for a range of diets:

Texture modified meals - If a health professional has advised you to have a texture modified diet, please contact us for a full range of meals including Pureed (Level 4), Minced & Moist (Level 5), and Soft & Bitesize (Level 6). 

Once you’ve let us know you want meals, we will send you a menu to complete.

If you wish to email your menu to us, download the form and fill in your meal choices. Alternatively you can call us on 03333 444 806 and we can fill it in for you.


The cost of a hot meal and dessert from our main range is £6.99, including VAT and delivery.

All of our prices include a welfare check as standard, and an optional medication prompt.

Please note that our specialist and texture modified meals come at an additional cost - please contact us for more information.

Cancelling or changing your meals

It’s not a problem to cancel or change your meals. Just let us know by 8.30am on the morning of the delivery.

Paying for meals

We’ll send you a bill for the meals that you’ve had at the end of every month. You can pay by:

  • Direct debit
  • Debit/credit Card
  • Cheque
  • Postal order

We can never accept cash.

During the current COVID-19 crisis Meals on Wheels will prioritise the elderly, and those identified by the government as being vulnerable only. Should you be self-isolating and be in need of food, you should be able to get a shopping delivery (supermarkets have been asked to prioritise these people). You can register for help on the gov.uk website.

In order to receive a meal from us, one of the following must apply:

  • You have difficulty preparing a meal safely.
  • You have a mental or physical disability.
  • Your carer is unwell or on holiday.
  • You’ve just come out of the hospital or you’re recovering from an illness.
  • You’re unable to cook meals for yourself after someone passes away.

There is no age limit.
